Islam literally means peace, well-being, security and salvation. Islam is the unconditional submission to Allah and the unconditional acceptance of His commands and prohibitions, without any coercion, by one's own choice and desire, and with sincere devotion.
A person who accepts Islam as a religion and abides by its rules is called a Muslim.
A person enters the religion of Islam when he or she says the Kalima Shahadat.
Kalima Shahadat mean:I bear witness that there is no deity (none truly to be worshipped) but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
1-Kalima Shahadat: Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah.

2-Salah (Prayer): Salah (Prayer) five times a day, namely Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha Salahs (Prayer).
3-Giving Zakat: Zakat is the annual giving of a certain amount, usually 2.5%, or one fortieth, of the wealth of Muslims of sound mind who have reached the age of puberty and are considered rich in religion, to poor Muslims. Zakat means cleanliness and increase in the dictionary. This is because it is a means of cleansing from sins and increasing the prosperity of wealth.
4-Fasting:Fasting by abstaining from eating, drinking and sexual intercourse from dawn until sunset has many religious, moral, social and medical benefits.
5-Going on the Hajj: Hajj, one of the pillars of Islam, is to visit the Ka'bah and some of the holy places around it on the days of pilgrimage and to fulfill the obligatory duties there. It is obligatory for every Muslim who can afford it financially and in good health to perform Hajj once in his lifetime.
