Islam literally means peace, well-being, security and salvation. Islam is the unconditional submission to Allah and the unconditional acceptance of His commands and prohibitions, without any coercion, by one's own choice and desire, and with sincere devotion.

Quran

"As for those who were guided, Allah has increased their guidance and inspired in them the means of avoiding evil."

(Surah Muhammad:17 / 47:17 Quran)

The Muslim Guide

The Quran calls out to those who are guided as follows.

Good news for Muslims from the The Quran

  • As for those who were guided, Allah has increased their guidance and inspired in them the means of avoiding evil.
    (Surah Muhammad:17 / 47:17 Quran)
  • Everyone has degrees according to their deeds. Your Lord is not unaware of what they do.
    (Surah Al-An'am:132 / 6:132 Quran)
  • They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allah, and Allah is Seeing of whatever they do.
    (Surah Al-Imran:163 / 3:163 Quran)
  • His Lord said to Abraham: "Be a Muslim," and he said: "I have submitted to the Lord of the worlds." Ibrahim bequeathed this religion to his sons and so did Jacob: "My sons! Allah has chosen for you the religion of Islam. Do not die in any other way, only as Muslims." Or were you there when death came to Jacob? Then Jacob asked his sons: "Whom will you serve after me?" They said: "To Allah alone, the God of you and your fathers Abraham, Ishmael and Ishâq, to Allah alone we submit.
    (Surah Al-Baqarah:131-132-133 / 2:131-132-133 Quran)
Prophet Muhammad (saw)

Whoever says: "I have chosen Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Muhammad as my Messenger (and I am pleased with them)', Paradise will be obligatory on them."

(Hadith Sharif)

The Muslim Guide

In some of hadiths, the Prophet Muhammad speaks and gives advice about those who join Islam and become Muslims.

Those who converted to Islam and Prophet Muhammad (saw)

  • Whoever testifies with his heart that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Allah will forbid him Hell.
  • Faith has seventy-odd degrees. The highest is the saying 'Laa ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah)', and the lowest is to remove something offensive from the road. Haya (the feeling of shame) is also a part of faith.
  • Islam is the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that the Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that you should pray (Salah), pay the zakat, fast in Ramadan and perform the pilgrimage (Hajj) if you are able to do so.
  • Whoever says: "I have chosen Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Muhammad as my Messenger (and I am pleased with them)', Paradise will be obligatory on them."
  • If a person enters Islam and is sincere about it, Allah writes in favor all the good deeds did before and forgives all the evil deeds he committed. What does after becoming a Muslim will be treated in the following way: For every good deed does, will be rewarded at least ten times as much and up to seven hundred times as much. For every evil has done, a sin will be written - unless Allah forgives.
  • If one of you becomes a Muslim inside and out, every good deed does will be written with its reward at least ten times up to seven hundred times. And every sin commits will be written with its like. This will continue until reaches Allah.
  • A person is not a believer unless believes in four things: To testify that there is no god but Allah and that I am Muhammad, the servant and messenger of Allah, and that has sent me with the truth, to believe in death, to believe in resurrection, to believe in destiny.
